''Pintor por Italia'' is a journal result of two trips made by Correa Corredoira and that conveys different visions for approaching the same identity, Italy, from two modos that perfectly trace the route done in a free and open way to let oneself be trapped by its art, for its people, its cuisine, ultimately, for a Mediterranean culture that is neither alien to us nor even so different seen through the eyes of a unique representative of this Finis Terrae that characterizes and defines us as an Atlantic people.
Correa Corredoira approaches us to Italy from two perspectives: the written one, more unexpected in a plastic artist, through well worked texts and that, sometimes, turn into genuine visions and poetic presentations; and the plastic one, which recognizes the most unique traveller, and through which it makes known to us and proposes a (re) knowledge of art flowing in all the streets and cities of that Italy, that in his pencil and paintbrush, it is transformed into a magical vision of colours.
Even so, ''Pintor por Italia'' is more than a travel journal and a catalogue of images. It is the simple sign of the personality of one of the top representatives of plastic Galician expression today -with its difficulty-, and that now is also discovered as a magnificent writer.
