The name of Baldaio remains linked in the minds of many to a natural area of special interest and to the conflict generated by the destruction of the beach and some attempts at exploitation. This publication is the result of a vindicative camping of “Grupo Darwin” in summer 1987, starting point of the study that led, after many efforts and struggles, the declaration of Natural Protected Area.
