The reservoir of Cecebre and its surroundings are one of the wetlands of great interest in Galicia. Thus, at the confluence of the river Mero and its tributary Barcés, the surroundings develop positively from a biological point of view, emerging suitable habitat for settlement of waterfowl, raptors, phrygilus, paridae, etc., accompanied by an increasing fauna of reptiles, some mammals, amphibians, insects… This guide aims to assist the knowledge and its reevaluation for its necessary protection.
