The ''Guía das árbores de Galicia'' is up to the third edition on a “route” that has been covering in a successful way a space in the literature of the natural. It has also been providing a material that became essential not only for fans and lovers of nature, but also for scholars and researchers.

Full-colour illustrated and with an accessible language for everyone, that, at the same time, does not escape from the scientific rigour demanded to a work of these characteristics, it includes and analyses the 91 indigenous and naturalized species of trees and bushes most representative of our mountains. It shows, for the first time, species that, without being properly arboreal, constitute ecosystems of great natural and ecologic value in a specific way or together with others.

The guide is a proposal of knowledge, and a call for protection and preservation of the Galician environment.
