This unit provides an analysis of the features of ferns, origin, morphology, the life cycle and reproduction, classification, ferns as ornamental plants, ferns in medicine, the key of the families of ferns present in Galicia, description, a small botanical glossary, bibliography and an activity which proposes breeding and fern culture, as the best way to observe its life cycle.
