The ''Manual práctico de galego'' forms part of the collection that Baia Edicións puts in the hands of people interested in learning our language manuals, easy to understand, while providing some texts for those who require a quick and safe way of resolving doubts regarding the writing of the Galician language.

This manual is a very effective teaching material for introductory and refinement courses of the Galician language promoted by our educational and cultural authorities in both our country and in those territories with populations of Galician-speaking tradition. It is also useful for training courses for adults in Galician language, for the preparation of public examinations to the various administrations in Galiza, as a review of the knowledge acquired and complement the language works courses for the last courses of ESO, High School and Professional Training, and a text for immediate search for people that already use the Galician language as their means of communication.

The manual, which adapts to the rules of spelling and morphology of the Galician language passed by the Real Academia Galega in plenary session on July 12, 2003, is divided into two parts: one of theory, to know the reasons, and another more practical , with an extensive proposal of exercises. Their solution is included at the end of the manual, with the intention of speeding up the verification of the accuracy of the responses.

Done to teach in the most enjoyable way, it also seeks to give an updated view of the Galician language today, and help our language to become a linguistic vehicle more accessible and more used, not only in speech, alive and strong in spite of the obstacles that still suffers nowadays, but also in the written form, unfortunately, more unusual.
