This volume aims to provide a practical method aimed at preparing the test of the Galician language in the selection process for entry into the staff of the Galician Health Service (SERGAS). Four main parts can be observed:
* ''Proposals with issues related to knowledge of the Galician language''. There are a total of 1000 questions divided into 50 questionnaires consisting of 20 exercises each one. Its structure is as follows:
** a) Vocabulary of Medicine (from 1st to 5th question).
** b) Human body (from 6th to 8th).
** c) Administrative Lexicon (from 9th to the 11th).
** d) Common lexicon (from 12th to 15th).
** e) Morfology, syntax and spelling (from 16th to the 20th).
* ''Questionnaires of the latest announcements of SERGAS''. A total of 14 proposals are included to provide an overview of the exercises presented in recent years (from 2002 to 2005) for the different job categories (nurse’s aide, hospital attendant, catering service, etc.).
* ''Specific vocabulary''. As a complement, specific vocabulary of health and health administration is included. It deals with the main terms of the specific lexicon of this area, grouped in a final glossary with the aim of making easy the search, when necessary.
* ''Key answers''. They collect the correct answers of both the 50 questionnaires proposed and the 14 ones corresponding to previous announcements.
As a self-taught learning strategy, we recommend the following procedure: 1º) carrying out of a single questionnaire, 2º) verification of the results, and 3º) identification of the cause of possible errors.

We hope that readers get to improve their level of Galician language and benefit from this work as much as possible.
